Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at fearofgodq.shop.

We hope that you are satisfied with your purchase. This Return and Refund Policy explains how to cancel an order, request a return, report a faulty item and obtain a refund.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable United Kingdom law.

1. Our 30-Day Return Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, fearofgodq.shop offers a voluntary return period of 30 days from the date you receive your order.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the item must:

  • Be returned within 30 days of delivery;

  • Be unworn, unused, unwashed and unaltered;

  • Be in the same condition in which it was received;

  • Have all original tags and labels attached;

  • Have any hygiene seals intact;

  • Be returned with its original packaging where reasonably possible; and

  • Be accompanied by a valid order number or other proof of purchase.

You may inspect clothing in the same way that you would reasonably inspect it in a physical shop. Items must not be worn for longer than reasonably necessary to check their appearance, fit and characteristics.

2. Starting a Return

Before returning an item, contact us at:

info@fearofgodq.shop

Please include:

  • Your order number;

  • The email address used when placing the order;

  • The name of the item you wish to return;

  • The reason for the return; and

  • Photographs where the item is damaged, defective or incorrect.

After reviewing your request, we will provide the applicable return instructions and return address.

Do not send returns to an address shown on a parcel, shipping label or website without first receiving return instructions from us. That address may belong to a carrier, fulfilment provider or another facility that is not authorised to process customer returns.

Unauthorised returns may be refused, lost or delayed.

3. Statutory Right to Cancel an Online Order

Consumers purchasing goods online generally have the right to cancel their order without giving a reason.

The statutory cancellation period normally begins when the contract is formed and ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

Where an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which the final item is received.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must send us a clear statement confirming your decision before the cancellation period expires.

Send your cancellation notice to:

info@fearofgodq.shop

You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

4. Returning Goods After Cancellation

After notifying us that you are cancelling an order, you must return the affected goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel.

You remain responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and while preparing them for return.

5. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch

To request cancellation before dispatch, contact info@fearofgodq.shop as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order. However, cancellation cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered processing, fulfilment or dispatch.

Where the order has already been dispatched, you may need to receive it and return it in accordance with this policy.

Refusing delivery does not by itself constitute a valid cancellation request. You should also contact us to confirm that you wish to cancel the order.

6. Change-of-Mind Return Costs

For a return made because you:

  • Changed your mind;

  • Ordered the wrong size, colour or style;

  • No longer want the item; or

  • Made an ordering mistake,

you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to comply with your statutory rights.

We recommend using a tracked return service and retaining the proof of postage until the return and refund have been completed.

We are not responsible for a return that is lost or damaged before reaching the authorised return location, except where the return service was arranged or provided by us.

7. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.

Contact us as soon as possible if an item is:

  • Faulty or defective;

  • Damaged on arrival;

  • Incorrectly supplied;

  • Missing from the parcel;

  • Materially different from its description; or

  • Not fit for its normal or expressly agreed purpose.

Email info@fearofgodq.shop and provide:

  • Your order number;

  • A description of the problem;

  • Clear photographs or video showing the issue;

  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping label where relevant; and

  • Details of the remedy you are requesting.

Photographs help us investigate the problem efficiently, but requesting reasonable evidence does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.

Where an item is confirmed as faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed, we will provide an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs where a return is necessary.

8. Your Rights for Faulty Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality;

  • Fit for their intended purpose; and

  • As described.

Where qualifying goods do not meet these requirements, you may have a short-term right to reject them and request a refund within 30 days.

After the short-term rejection period, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. Where a repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful, not provided within a reasonable time or causes significant inconvenience, you may have the right to a price reduction or final rejection of the goods.

The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and the applicable legal requirements.

9. Exchanges

To request an exchange, contact info@fearofgodq.shop.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability and approval. We cannot guarantee that a replacement size, colour or product will remain available.

Where an exchange is unavailable, you may return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order.

For change-of-mind exchanges, you may be responsible for the cost of returning the original item and any applicable delivery cost for the replacement.

Where the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, we will provide a remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

10. Products Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise covered by statutory consumer rights, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns for:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;

  • Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;

  • Underwear, intimate apparel or swimwear where a protective hygiene seal has been removed or damaged;

  • Earrings or pierced jewellery where the hygiene seal has been broken;

  • Goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;

  • Gift cards;

  • Items that have been worn, washed, altered or repaired;

  • Items damaged through misuse, neglect or improper care;

  • Items with missing tags, labels, accessories or components; or

  • Items returned after the applicable return period.

These exclusions do not apply where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet statutory requirements.

11. Sale and Promotional Items

Sale, discounted and promotional items may be returned under our 30-day return policy, provided they satisfy the applicable return conditions.

Purchasing an item at a reduced price does not remove your statutory rights where the item is faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose.

Any promotion-specific conditions will be displayed before purchase and will not restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Condition of Returned Goods

You may handle an item only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Examples of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary include:

  • Wearing clothing for an extended period;

  • Washing or altering an item;

  • Removing tags unnecessarily;

  • Breaking a hygiene seal;

  • Staining or damaging an item;

  • Exposing the item to smoke, perfume, cosmetics or strong odours;

  • Returning an item with pet hair or other signs of use; or

  • Returning incomplete products or packaging.

Where permitted by law, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a physical shop.

We will not apply a deduction where doing so would unlawfully restrict your statutory rights.

13. Return Packaging

You are responsible for packaging returned goods securely.

Where reasonably possible, use the original product packaging and place it inside suitable protective outer packaging.

Do not attach return labels, tape or writing directly to product packaging where doing so may damage the product or reduce its value.

14. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

Where you validly exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund:

  • The price paid for the cancelled goods; and

  • The cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order, where applicable.

Where you selected an enhanced, express or more expensive delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of standard delivery.

The cost of returning change-of-mind goods remains your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise or the law requires us to bear that cost.

15. Refund Processing Time

After receiving and inspecting your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after:

  • The day we receive the returned goods; or

  • The day you provide satisfactory evidence that the goods have been sent back,

whichever occurs first.

For an order cancelled before dispatch, the refund will normally be issued without undue delay after cancellation has been confirmed.

Refunds for qualifying faulty goods will be issued within the time required by applicable law.

16. Refund Method

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method used to place the order.

We will use another payment method only where you expressly agree and will not incur additional charges as a result.

After we issue a refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account. These processing times are controlled by the relevant provider.

17. Partial Refunds and Deductions

Where permitted by law, we may issue a partial refund or make a reasonable deduction where:

  • The goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary;

  • The returned item has been worn, damaged, altered or washed;

  • Tags, accessories, packaging or components are missing;

  • Only part of an order has been returned;

  • The goods have suffered a reduction in value while in the customer’s possession; or

  • Additional costs arose because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

Any deduction will be reasonable, proportionate and applied only where legally permitted.

18. Incorrect Size, Colour or Style

Ordering an incorrect size, colour or style does not normally make an item faulty.

Eligible items may still be returned under our 30-day voluntary return policy, provided they satisfy the return conditions.

Customers should review the product description, measurements, sizing information and selected options carefully before placing an order.

19. Missing Items and Split Shipments

Some orders may be delivered in more than one parcel.

Before reporting an item as missing, review your dispatch confirmation and tracking information to determine whether another parcel is still in transit.

Where an item remains missing, contact info@fearofgodq.shop with your order number and details of the items received.

20. Refused, Unclaimed and Undeliverable Parcels

Where a parcel is refused, unclaimed or returned because of an incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible address, we will review the circumstances after the parcel reaches the authorised return facility.

Where legally permitted, reasonable delivery, return or handling costs may be deducted from the refund if the return resulted from:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer;

  • Failure to collect the parcel;

  • Refusal of delivery without a valid cancellation notice;

  • Failure to respond to a carrier’s delivery request; or

  • Another circumstance attributable to the customer.

A returned-to-sender tracking update does not mean that we have received or inspected the parcel.

21. Return Fraud and Abuse

We may investigate returns that reasonably appear to involve fraud, abuse, substitution, deliberate damage or misuse of this policy.

We may refuse a voluntary return where the conditions of this policy have not been met. However, we will not refuse or restrict any statutory remedy to which a consumer is legally entitled.

22. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact info@fearofgodq.shop before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Initiating a chargeback does not create additional return rights and does not remove your obligation to return goods where a refund is conditional on their return.

We may provide order, delivery and communication records to the relevant payment provider when responding to a payment dispute.

23. Gifts

Where an item was purchased by another person and sent to you as a gift, any monetary refund will normally be returned to the original payment method used by the purchaser.

We cannot transfer a refund to a different person or payment account unless an alternative arrangement is expressly agreed and legally permitted.

24. Proof of Purchase

We may require reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return, exchange or refund.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • An order number;

  • An order confirmation email;

  • The email address used at checkout; or

  • Another transaction record that allows us to identify the purchase.

25. Statutory Rights

This policy operates alongside applicable United Kingdom consumer protection legislation, including:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015; and

  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Nothing in this policy excludes, limits or replaces any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
